1. Temper Tantrum
Occasional temper tantrums are normal in toddlers, and only persistent or very severe tantrums are abnormal. The immediate cause is often unwitting reinforcement by excessive attention and inconsistent discipline on the part of the parents. When this arises it is often because the parents have emotional problems of their own or because the relationship between them is unsatisfactory.
Solution:
The parents must not rattle when their child shows tantrums.When parents impose rules inside the house there must be consistency about punishment they'll make when their child shows unnecessary behavior for their child to eliminate their tantrums.
2. Pica
Pica is the eating of items generally regarded as inedible, for example soil, paint, and paper. It is often associated with other behavior problems. Cases should be investigated carefully because some are due to brain damage, or autism, or mental retardation. Some are associated with emotional distress, which should be reduced if possible.
Solution:
Children must be accompany by someone to prevent the child by eating inedible objects. Parents must be also observant about the toys their children are playing with, because some of the toys today contain toxic that might cause harm to children.3. Child Abuse
Child abuse is more than bruises and broken bones. While physical abuse might be the most visible sign, other types of abuse, such as emotional abuse or child neglect, also leave deep, long lasting scars.
Solution:
Parents must remind themselves that children are gift from God. They can discipline their children but not to the extent that they will abusive words or actions. They must show love, care, sympathy and concern to their children. 4. Sleep Problem
The most frequent sleep difficulty is wakefulness at night, which is most frequent between the ages of 1 and 4 years. About a fifth of children of this age take at least an hour to get to sleep or are wakeful for long periods during the night. When wakefulness is an isolated problem and not very distressing to the family, it is enough to reassure parents that it is likely to improve.
Solution:
Inside their must be daily routines that each of the family must do. For children it is vital for them to have a proper sleeping time. So, when they insist not to sleep they must be discipline or you can have a condition that whenever she/he will sleep both of you will go to mall when she/ he woke up.5. Sibling Rivalry
Your preschool age child may have a hard time sharing your attention with other siblings, especially a new baby. Children at this age are normally self-centered and may not understand why they have to share your attention. They may feel neglected or jealous and may regress in many of their behaviors.
Solution:
One of the parents must talk to their child about the adjustment that they will make if they have a new baby. The father especially can invite his child to go to mall, buy new toys or take care his/her new sibling through these the child will not feel any jealously towards the new baby.
